Apparently, skirts in general and short ones in specific are out of fashion these days. What a crying shame.

It is summer, my favourite time of the year. The weather is agreeable, the sky is blue, the birds sing and pepole are more beautiful than ever. But the last few years has seen a significant change in the common pepole street fashion. And I´m talking about the women´s fashion. Since I don´t look at men and don´t give much damn about what I wear myself, the only fahion I care about is the kind that makes pretty girtls even prettier. And right now the best part of the summer just ain´t there.

There are no legs. Well, or fourse there are legs, or pepole would all be touring the pavement in wheelshairs. But they are Legs in Pants. Jeans mostly. And jeans sucks. They are boring. They are blue. (And right now the choice for the trendy: Sandblasted. What´s up with that?) And they shape pepole instead of being shaped by the form of the wearer. So for those with a) the right shape to start with, and b) an interrest in their own looks, it should be evident that jeans is not an option. But hey, it´s the flavor of the week, so what do they care?
Instead there are belly buttons and bare waists. The sum of skin exposure seems intact, but the focus has simply shifted upwards. I guess I should be graceful as long as said focus doesn´t travel up even more...that would really stop traffic, if you know what I mean.

On a side note, I must say that the little I notice when it comes to male or unisex street fashion baffles me quite alot too.
I mean what the hell is this? Pepole walk around looking like Smurfs, and act like it´s Urban, Street, Real and Cool. My, oh my.
